Android TV media player
DuplexPlay is a media player from CRTVAPPS. This multimedia app lets you watch videos on your Android devices, including your phones, tablets, and smart TVs. It allows users to create and customize a playlist of their favorite videos, which can play in the order they choose and it even allows them to watch IPTV content. Note, however, that the app is only a media player. It does not include any content, so you have to upload your playlist
How do you use the app?
DuplexPlay lets users play videos grouped into a playlist. It allows the creation and even customization for quick access to your media content. The app comes with various helpful tools, including resume playback, which allows you to pick up where you left off every time or go to a specific position using the time slider. More than that, the app supports embedded subtitles and even a selection of audio tracks to find the setup that suits you.
DuplexPlay does not have any content, and you need to add them manually. On the home screen, select the Add Playlist button. The app will then provide instructions and information, such as the URL, where you can manage your playlists, the device ID, and the device key. On your web browser, visit the provided URL and supply the information required. Click Manage Playlists and then the Add Playlist button to start creating your playlist. A popup will open asking for playlist information. Fill this up, and then click Save.
From there, you can start adding video playlists, then refreshing the app so it can update its playlist. One important note is that DuplexPlay is not a free app, although you will have a free trial for seven days. After which, you need to pay a small amount to activate the app. Not only that but if you are using it to play your IPTV channels, you need to have a separate subscription for that as well.
Is the app worth it?
DuplexPlay is a media player that comes with advanced features. With it, you can enjoy some features to make your streaming experience more fun. However, there are drawbacks to the app that can be a deal-breaker for some. Creating the playlists alone takes time. Not only that but activating the app needs payment. So if you are using it to play IPTV channels, you will have to pay for two subscriptions.
